Hazara Resource Platform (HRP) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization established in State of Virginia, United States of America with remote presence in several other countries including UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. We aim to empower the Hazara community through research, studies, and support programs, and also serve as a Digital Resource Center. Our organization aims to serve as a centralized reliable digital resource center and collaboration hub for the Hazaras and a diverse range of stakeholders including institutions, researchers, survivors of war atrocity victims’ families, financial sponsors, and philanthropists.

We have established an online secure technology platform with interactive metrics dashboard, formed a thriving network of volunteers, and conducted research on several major attacks targeting Hazara civilians in Afghanistan.

Who are the Hazaras

The Hazaras are often considered the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan (around 25 percent), primarily located in the central region with significant scattered across the country. Hazaras are also a significant population inhabitant in Pakistan and Iran that may exceed four million citizens and refugees. .

Our Approach

We foster community engagement and provide a safe space for Hazaras to connect, share experiences, and build solidarity.
We establish and promote research, studies, and human rights programs.
We document all incidents of violence against members of the Hazara community in a secure online digital resource center.
We champion the rights of Hazaras through legal and policy advocacy, bringing their plights to light at national and international forums, ensuring their voices are amplified and heard.
We design and implement humanitarian programs in support of girls’ higher education and victims' survivors, and other at high-risk families.
